Pricing rules
Every way wineries price shipping.
Mix them freely. Each shipping method in each zone has its own price.
By package weight
Weight bands like "up to 12 lbs: $20", plus a rule for heavier orders. Weight comes from your Commerce7 products.
By bottle count
A price for 1, 2, 3, 6 or 12 bottles, the way most club charts work. A bigger case can even cost less.
Flat, plus per bottle
One flat price, or a price that covers the first few bottles plus a charge for each bottle after that.
Seasonal and 750ml only
Offer Temperature-Controlled in summer with one switch, and only when every bottle is a size you choose.
Magnums and gift sets
Special prices for carts of only Magnums, a 3L, a 6L or gift sets. Mixed carts use your normal prices.
Wine club
Club members get their own shipping.
Club orders are zoned and priced from their own chart, so members can pay less, or ship free, without touching anyone else's price.
A price for every case size
Club charts usually price by bottle count, not weight. Set a price for 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 12 bottles and a single Magnum. A 12-bottle case can cost less per bottle, or less in total.
Their own zones
Club shipping groups rarely match distance zones, so club orders have a separate set.
You decide the fallback
When a club order isn't in a Club zone or its bottle count isn't listed, your Standard prices or Commerce7 price it.
Ship dates
Hold shipping until the right day.
Take orders now and ship when the weather or the release allows. Customers see the date at checkout.
Weather holds by state
Hold hot or freezing states, with a date or until you switch it off. Let paid 2-Day ship right away.
Pre-releases and futures
Hold orders that contain certain SKUs or Commerce7 collections until release day.
Saved on the order
The date lands in Commerce7's Requested Ship Date, so your team or warehouse ships it on time.

How does 1Case change what customers pay?
Commerce7 lets an app supply shipping prices. With 1Case chosen under Rates From in Settings > Shipping and Custom rules switched on, Commerce7 asks 1Case for prices at the shipping step and shows your methods to the customer.
What happens if 1Case can't answer?
Commerce7 charges your own manual rates from Settings > Shipping, so a customer is never left without shipping. 1Case can copy its prices into those manual rates, so even then the price is about right. Orders that ended up on the backup rates are listed in the app.
Can wine club members get different shipping prices?
Yes. Club orders use their own zones and their own prices, often one price per bottle count. If a club order isn't covered, you choose whether your Standard prices or Commerce7's rates apply.
How do ship dates work?
A hold delays shipping until a date, for every order, for some states, or for orders with certain SKUs or Commerce7 collections. Checkout shows the date after the method name, and the date is saved on the order as Commerce7's Requested Ship Date. Commerce7 doesn't stop an order shipping early, so your team or fulfillment partner ships it on that date.
Can I try it before customers see it?
Yes. A new install starts with Custom rules off. Test an order prices any sample cart with your settings and explains each step, so you can check everything first.
Do I have to type all my rates in again?
No. Import from Commerce7 copies your current zones and weight rates into 1Case as a starting point, and keeps a copy of the originals so you can go back.
Does it work outside the US?
No. 1Case prices US ship-to addresses, including Puerto Rico and other territories. Orders to other countries get Commerce7's own rates.
Does it check shipping compliance?
No. 1Case sets the shipping price. Which states you may ship to, age checks and taxes stay with your compliance tools. Leave a state out of every zone and Commerce7's own rules handle it.
Does it buy labels?
No. It sets what the customer pays for shipping. Labels and fulfillment stay with your current tools.
Do I need a developer?
No. Install it from the Commerce7 App Store and follow the four steps in the app. Setup help is free: email [email protected] with your rate card and we'll help you get it right.
How is billing handled?
Commerce7 bills $49.99/month on its Basic and Pro plans and $69.99/month on Experience and Enterprise. There's no separate payment method, and uninstalling the app stops the charge.
